FROM SKETCH TO GUITAR
Johan Papaconstantino is a musician and a painter. Introduced by his label, he came to the Paris showroom and tried a few instruments. A few days later he sent us a sketch: one of our models, the MV, customized in his own colours. We crafted the instrument the painter had imagined for the musician. He played it on the stage of We Love Green — the first De Leeuw filmed live on stage.

Fitted with a P90 in the neck position and a DustBiter (strat-inspired single coil) in the bridge, the MV has real bite. This original configuration carries you across a wide range of musical territories.
THE NECK HEEL
The sculpted heel of our neck-through builds gives full access to the upper frets and a rare playing comfort. It is one of the signatures of Quentin De Leeuw, Maître Artisan d'Art.
HIPSHOT HARDWARE
We use Hipshot tuners and bridges to ensure perfect tuning stability and the best hold over time.
COMMISSION A DE LEEUW
Commissioning a De Leeuw instrument means entering one of the few French ateliers specialised in lutherie, where every guitar is entirely carved by hand.
Every commission begins with an appointment: at our Paris showroom, or during a trunk show in Los Angeles, Tokyo, New York… Every detail is chosen together, through to delivery in person.
